What is QFELLOWS

QFELLOWS is the quantum PhD program by Tectonic, designed to bring together researchers, theorists, experimentalists, and post-docs working in quantum / post-quantum fields.

A community foundry for ambitious PhD holders to share work, get feedback, form collaborations, and accelerate breakthroughs.

Focused on post-quantum tools, cryptography, quantum algorithms, error correction, hardware, simulations, etc.

Open to PhDs at all stages (current, recent, or incoming), from any region and background.

Why Join

Network & Collaboration

Meet peers, form research partnerships, co-author, hack together.

Mentorship

Access to senior quantum scientists, Tectonic’s internal experts, and industry leaders.

Learning & Resources

Workshops, reading groups, seminars, project incubators in post-quantum tech.

Visibility & Impact

Showcase your work, get exposure, contribute to open source, influence PQ standards.

Our Initiatives

Monthly Research Showcases

Fellows present recent advances in their work, get feedback in live Discord sessions, and discuss open problems.

Project Incubators

Collaborative sprints to build open-source toolkits, datasets, or hardware prototypes in post-quantum domains.

Reading Groups & Tutorials

Deep dives: quantum error correction, lattice-based cryptography, post-quantum signatures etc., hosted by domain experts.

Mentorship Matchmaking

Pairing Fellows with senior advisors based on interest areas for guidance on research, career, or industry transitions.

How It Works

1. Join the Discord

You’ll be invited to channels matching your specialization.

2. Introduce Yourself

Academic background, research areas, what you hope to achieve in QFELLOWS.

3. Participate & Engage

Join reading groups, showcase your work, collaborate on projects, give feedback, etc.

4. Level Up & Lead

As you contribute, you can become mentors, project leads, or help organize events.

Who We Are

Tectonic is dedicated to advancing post-quantum technologies: cryptography, resilient hardware, algorithmic tools, and open standards. Our mission is to prepare the world for quantum-safe infrastructure, and empower researchers to lead that transition.
